Summer Wardrobe Work

The summer months tend to slow down in terms of big closet projects for my clients and me. Most recently, I’ve had women reaching out asking for help with and support for members of their families. See a variety of projects below. I love sharing what I’ve been up to in hopes that it gives you all inspiration for your own wardrobe plus a bit of fun, restful distraction. (Read “Darwin Was a Slacker” here—good reasons to prioritize rest in our daily schedules!).

Additionally, I love to assist Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich each August by offering my styling and shopping suggestions to their members and guests for the annual benefit in September. This year’s theme, Havana Nights, is broad enough that everyone can find something fun and high-energy to add into a late summer wardrobe. Whether you’re attending this party or not, I hope you find some color inspo at least and a full outfit at best to use for yourself. If you’d like more info about the annual benefit or to donate to Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich, please click here. And click here to watch a 2-minute video of the Chanel Resort Show 2016/2017 on the streets of Havana. Tilda Swinton, Gisele, Ana de Armas, Vanessa Paradis: Fabulous!

And then, there’s Italian fashion, color and light. Those are always inspirational whether it’s current-day or circa 1500 (see below; flat Mary Janes happen to be trending this Fall as apparently they were way back in the 16th century according to the frescoes in the Piccolomini Library that I visited recently). Art, fashion, food and friendship: my Italy trip in June was truly a dream come true!

I hope you enjoy the following collection of ideas. I’ve added links wherever applicable so click on the photos. Happy Summer, everyone!
